Meet the fowl!

Meet the fowl at our place
this is the smallest mallard call duck I got last year, she may be small but she makes up for it in her voice!

My "calling" call ducks. They ALWAYS have something to say when I am in there pen

Tweed, the next adventure

Today my little Border Collie Tweed is 8 weeks. I would say he is settled in already even after being here only 3 short days. He has already spied not only our chickens and ducks but the neighbors chickens as well. That will certainly be an opportunity for training when his attention span is longer than 2 seconds....

I am giggling like crazy I am watching Tweed bounce, bounce, bounce in front of Spike to try and convince him to play, but Spike is 13 and has NO interest in playing with a lil' tike that has needles for teeth.

Crash, just a second, I gotta see what the little stinker is up to....ahhh my vacuum....he stops at nothing. Funny, when I go to investigate he is sitting quiet and cute, I imagine he is trying to convince me that "It wasn't me, really." Right....

No one is safe now. Wylie, Zeke and Spike had figured out that they could go upstairs to catch some shut eye. Not anymore! Tweed has mastered the stairs up and down. He is quite proud of himself when he has reached the bottom stair...he then jumps with gusto on to hallway rug...silly puppy!
